About Myriadeco and Me

My Story

Hi, I'm Sharon, and I use the best quality eco paints and effects to rejuvenate tired furniture. At my Myriadeco Eco Inspired Interiors store in Llanfairfechan I have a dedicated workshop, as well as one at home in the village, where I prepare and refinish all my rescued finds.

My chosen path when I left school was in accountancy and I have been fortunate to have worked for decorators' merchants, surrounded by paint, wallpaper and fabrics for many years and also for an architectural practice. Fast forward to present day and I still have my accountancy connections but I wanted to promote what I believe in most which is upcycling and reducing waste, so in 2021 I started Myriadeco, combining my beliefs with my love of interiors.

I am also an art historian and many of my designs are inspired by anything from the ancient Greeks to Italian architect Ettore Sottsass. Whether it’s landscapes, still lives, or portraits, Renaissance, Pre Raphaelite or Modern, I will usually reference any art historical influence in my work and provide an interesting narrative to go along with it.

As well as refinishing furniture for my shop I am more than happy to take furniture painting commissions. Share your ideas with me and I will help with the design and choice of finish. No-one else will have the same piece as you; it will be totally unique and specifically for your home.

In 2023 I hope to be running one to one classes on upcycling at the Waverley Workshop as well as holding Waverley Weekends which will showcase some of the eco paint products available to purchase at Myriadeco. Half day and full day studio sessions will be announced on the Myriadeco website covering stencilling, decoupage and other techniques.
